Tank Cleaning Maintenance Tech
Location: Casey, IL

Rate of Pay: $18-$25 (based upon experience and/or certifications such as a CDL)
Travel or Overnights Required: January through March: travel is 3-5 days per week – April through Mid-December: travel is 5-10 days at a time
Overtime Pay: On the road, overtime applied after 8 hours
Average hours per week: 50-65 hours
Job Type: Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Painting
• Hand tool cleaning, Power tool cleaning, Abrasive blast cleaning, High pressure water cleaning
• Hand excavation through use of shovels, jack hammers and concrete saws
• Scaffolding erection
• Confined space entry
• Liquid and solid material handling
• Driving
• Pipe fitting work
• On occasion, position may require handling hazardous waste for transport.

Requirements:

• Must be able to travel
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have clean motor vehicle report
• Must be willing to get Class A CDL
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Drug Test
• Able to deal with extreme cold and hot climates
• Able to deal with heights up to 50 feet
• Must be able to wear a respirator, as well as other required PPE equipment
• Good Communication Skills
• Minimum High School Degree Required
• Must be able to perform all job functions that require lifting and/or carrying single items weighing at least 100lbs as well as functions/activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, climbing, standing, lifting, twisting, reaching, squatting and kneeling
