Lube and Tire Technician

 

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Position Overview:
Bolin Autos Trucks Tires is seeking a full time Lube and Tire Technician looking for a career in a well-established family-owned company. Since 2005, Bolin Autos Trucks Tires has been providing automotive, diesel, and ag equipment repair services to Casey, Illinois, and the surrounding area. We are a NAPA Auto Care Center and offer the most respected names in tires and 24/7 Farm Tire Services.

The ideal candidate for the Lube and Tire Technician position will have at least two years of experience in the tire/lube industry. This position is a fast-paced job that is expected to be performed in a safe manner. The position is Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, with limited overtime during peak farming seasons. We have a great team to work with that are all focused on safety and customer service.

 

Job Functions:

  • Perform all necessary tire repairs, dismounts, and mounts of all tires at store location & field service calls.
  • Check in, code and tag all tire inventories.
  • Help monitor the tire inventory.
  • Maintain and secure the tire warehouse, as well as keep it neat and clean.
  • If no tire work is available, you would be expected to help with other job duties such as equipment set-up, lube rack, mechanic helper or any other related department duties.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
  • Minimum High School Degree Required
  • At least 2 years of experience with tire/lube industry
  • Good Customer Service and Communication Skills
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug test
  • Capability to lift minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must be able to perform all job functions that require lifting and/or carrying single items weighing at least 50lbs as well as functions/activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, twisting and reaching
