Automotive Alignment Technician
Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour

Overview
The ideal candidate for the Alignment position will have at least two years of experience with the Hunter alignment machine. This position is a fast-paced job that is expected to be performed in a safe manner. The position is Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, with limited overtime during peak farming seasons. We have a great team to work with that are all focused on safety and customer service.
Duties
- Examine vehicles, compile estimates of repair costs, and secure customers’ approval to perform repairs.
- Repair, overhaul, or adjust automobile brake systems.
- Repair or replace defective ball joint suspensions, brake shoes, or wheel bearings.
- Inspect and test new vehicles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
- Align wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automobiles, using special alignment equipment and wheel-balancing machines.
- Oil changes
- Tire repairs & Installation
- If no alignment work is available, you would be expected to help with other job duties such as equipment set-up, mechanic helper or any other related department duties.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum High School Degree Required
- At least 2 years of experience with the Hunter alignment machine
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Good Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug test
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during repair process
